Undergraduate Program in Computer Engineering
Computer Engineering has a balanced program in terms of software and hardware, which gives our graduates the ability to offer comprehensive solutions in the computing field.
The flexibility of the program prepares you for managing systems based on current and developing technologies, since it allows you to specialize in areas such as Business Intelligence, Robotics, Domotics, Telemechatronics, Mobile Technologies and Digital Animation.
Currently, computers are not only used to develop repetitive tasks or simple information processing.
They are also used to carry out tasks that require a certain level of intelligence. For example: automatic translation of texts, medical diagnosis, object and voice recognition, videogames and electronic commerce. In addition, our program is accredited by CONAIC (Consejo Nacional de Acreditación en Informática y Computación, A.C.) and ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology).
If you wish, you also have the option to pursue two undergraduate programs concurrently, thereby obtaining two professional degrees by only studying a few extra semesters. Furthermore, you also have the opportunity to take some courses abroad thanks to ITAM’s Exchange Program, which has more than 80 agreements with the world’s best universities.
